Meet Chase – Behind the Chair at Lux Lox
Chase’s journey at Lux Lox is one we’ve been incredibly proud to witness. After graduating from Paul Mitchell, she continued building her foundation through an apprenticeship at Be Kekoa Salon in Old Town Temecula, a salon respected for its expertise in curly and textured hair. She later joined Lux Lox, where she completed our nine-month Residency Program with weekly live model training and served as our salon assistant, training alongside our Master Stylist in one of our most competitive roles.
Through that advanced training, Chase has refined her artistry, elevated her guest experience, and built a strong foundation for the business she is now growing under her brand, VenusInCurlz. At Lux Lox, we do not simply place stylists behind the chair, every service Chase offers have been tested through our Proof of Service Program to ensure it meets our guests’ expectations for quality, care, and consistency. Today, she is confidently welcoming guests of her own with a calm, thoughtful presence, a strong technical foundation, and a genuine desire to help each guest feel seen, comfortable, and confident.

Hello, I’m Chase.
Creativity, self-expression, and meaningful connection have always been at the heart of who I am, and they continue to shape the way I approach my work behind the chair. For me, hair is never just about the final result. It is about creating an experience that helps each guest feel seen, understood, and more like themselves.
Since completing the Lux Lox Residency Program and stepping fully behind the chair, my confidence has grown in a way that has transformed both my technical skills and my mindset. Through hands-on model work, advanced training, and the opportunity to learn through observation, communication, and problem-solving, I’ve developed a deeper sense of purpose in every service I provide. What once felt nerve-racking now feels exciting, creative, and rooted in curiosity.
I’m especially passionate about vivid color transformations, edgy layered haircuts, face-framing fringes, and helping guests feel confident in their natural waves or curls. While I value becoming a well-rounded stylist, I’m especially drawn to bold, expressive work that allows each guest’s individuality to shine. I feel most connected to women who value self-expression and are not afraid to be bold in the way they present themselves.
Empowerment is at the heart of the guest experience I hope to create. My chair is meant to feel like a mellow, welcoming space where you can talk openly about your hair goals, your concerns, and the version of yourself you want to see reflected back in the mirror. Whether it’s a dramatic transformation, a fresh new cut, or learning to embrace your natural texture, I believe it is an honor to be part of someone’s self-expression and confidence journey.
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned through Lux Lox is the importance of understanding the purpose behind every action. From placement and cutting to product choice and guest communication, I’ve learned to think critically about why I do what I do and the outcome it creates. That understanding has shaped the way I work, allowing me to approach each appointment with more intention, confidence, and care.
What I love most about this chapter of my career is that no two days are ever the same. I get to keep learning, keep creating, and experience the genuine fulfillment that comes from watching someone light up when they see their hair. That moment never gets old.
Outside of the salon, I enjoy reading romance novels, watching horror movies, cuddling with my dogs, and spending time with my friends and family.

Chase is currently accepting select models at Lux Lox as she continues refining advanced services through hands-on training and our Proof of Service Program. This is a unique opportunity to receive select services at a model rate while supporting the continued development of a stylist committed to elevated standards.
Model opportunities may include:
– Hair extensions
– Color corrections
– Blonding services
– Dimensional color
– Creative color transformations
Model selection is based on service fit, hair history, and overall hair integrity. Some appointments may require a consultation in advance.
Requirements:
– Tuesday availability
– Completion of a short feedback form
– Consent to before-and-after photos
– Willingness to leave a review if you are happy with your experience
